Carol Ships in the Burrard Inlet are a Vancouver tradition. The Carol Ships 'Parade of Lights' began 47 years ago with one boat decorated with Christmas lights in Coal Harbour off the Westin Bayshore Resort & Marina. Now, the local waters of Vancouver come alive each holiday season with the luminous colour of the Carol Ship Parade of Lights! The Magic Yachts are certified by Transport Canada and have liquor licenses. Our ships will be dressed for this very special occasion with hundreds of colourful lights and decorations—both inside and out. It is the only time of the year that vessels are allowed to display coloured exterior lighting. You will listen to a chorus of Christmas Classics as you dine on a Christmas feast. Join in if you like or simply sit back and enjoy the sights of Vancouver by night and the sounds of the festive season unfolding around you as we take part in this annual celebration which promises to be as popular this year as in years past.
